Beaches, mouth watering food and laid back vibes, Canggu has it all! This has become our fave place to go in Bali. Canggu is quickly becoming the next best thing to Seminyak which is a little too busy for my liking. If you’re planning a trip to Canggu, you’ve come to the right place!
See the sunset from La Brisa
The sister to La Laguna & La Favela in Bali, La Brisa has become our new favourite! With island and pirate ship vibes, this stunning beach bar has a pool, palm trees and chill day beds. They also do music events from time to time so keep an eye out if that interests you! Be sure to visit when you’re in Canggu!
Visit Tanah Lot Temple
This gorgeous temple is located about 20 minutes north of Canggu in the Tabanan Regency. It is truly spectacular to walk around, especially at sunset or sunrise! The word Tanah means Land and the word Lot means Sea. Therefore, Tanah Lot means Land in the Sea. This temple appears to float at high tide and at low tide you can walk across to it.
Have a relaxing day at La Laguna
As mentioned above La Laguna is the sister to La Brisa. The creators really did well with creating space that is just so magical! La Laguna haws a more vintage feel with lush greenery and old horse carriages converted into spaces to eat and drink. We love this place!
Take a scooter ride down the short cut in the rice fields
This shortcut is not for the faint hearted! The road is small and best for scooters only, although cars try to go down and sometimes end up in the rice field. Enter through Oasis Canggu Bali in the north to get across the river to the other side of Canggu. Great for saving time and for a bit of fun!
Eat some amazing food at The Shady Shack
We went here numerous times for an amazing plant based feed! Bali in general is just heaven for food but had to give this place a mention.
Soak in ocean views from Finns Beach Club
This place has great chill vibes, ocean views and a pool to swim and relax in. A great way to spend an afternoon and enjoy the sunset!
If you’re heading to Bali, I have also written a blog about what to do in Ubud. Have you been to Bali? We hope we have helped you plan your trip and as always, happy travels! <3
