Singapore was definitely a highlight in our travels! Lot’s of entertainment and stunning places to explore. If you’re there for a couple of days, we’ve got the perfect list of activities for your stay.
Visit the Merlion
The gorgeous iconic Merlion statue is a must see in Singapore! You can visit it in Merlion Park near Anderson Bridge and get both an amazing view of the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands. There is also a second Merlion that is bigger on Sentosa Island.
Walk around Gardens by the Bay
I think this one is pretty standard when going to Singapore but it definitely is a must! These luscious gardens have so many hidden gems to see. From lakes, to walking trails and sculptures, these gardens have it all.
Have a drink at IndoChine rooftop inside Gardens by the Bay
This rooftop bar boasts stunning views of Singapore where you can see the Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands. Worth a visit for a drink or even for dinner!
Gardens by the Bay music night
The Gardens by the bay do daily music events where the all light up to particular music. Usually two shows at 7:45pm and 8:45pm but this could change. Get updated times here. It’s fantastic to watch. When we were there it was May the 4th which is Star Wars day, so there was a light and music show in the theme of Star Wars. Very magical!
Ride a bike around Sentosa
Sentosa island is just gorgeous! You can hire a bike and ride around or even stay on the island. Sentosa also is the southern most point of continental Asia, so pretty cool to visit and see and get a photo with the sign. You can get to Sentosa by car or enjoy the cable car ride over from the city.
Ride the Luge on Sentosa Island
On Sentosa Island there is a Luge which gives awesome Mario Kart vibes, especially at night when it’s lit up! It is the second Luge in the world after the first in New Zealand. Certainly a fun thing to experience.
See the view in the cable car
There is a cable car that goes from Singapore to Sentosa Island and is a great way to get sky high views of Singapore. Make it a return trip so you can enjoy Sentosa Island for the day!
Explore Universal Studios
This one is for families or big kids like us! We love theme parks so thoroughly enjoyed our day at Universal Studios. Go during the week to generally skip the big crowds so you don’t spend your whole day waiting in line.
See the view from Marina Bay Sands
The view is just stunning so you can see why it’s on many peoples bucket list! If you don’t want to fork out to stay at the hotel and swim in the infinity pool, you can still get to the rooftop to enjoy the views!
Enjoy a burger at VeganBurg
This place would be our top recommended spot for food! Endorsed by Beatles star Sir Paul McCartney, the burgers here are not only on the healthier end of burgers but they are super tasty! Give them a go, you won’t regret it!
Have you been to Singapore? Do you feel inspired to go? We hope you enjoy Singapore as much as we did! It was certainly a highlight on our travels <3
